# How to Use the Age Restriction Extension

The **Age Restriction popup** is a great tool to inform your site visitors about the adult content of the website.

### Required Steps to create an Age Restriction Popup:

* Go to your **WordPress Dashboard** >> **Popup Builder** >> **Add New** button and click on **Age Restriction** icon.

###  Available features for Age Restriction

*  The **Exit URL** is a URL to which the user will be redirected in case of not verifying the age.

* The **Lockout try count** is an option to set the number of failed trials during the age verification.

* The **Required age** option shows the needed age, to get access to the content.

* The **Remember choice** is an option to set and customize the number of days after the Popup will be shown for the same user again once they verify the age. See below the available options:

* The **Expiration time** allows to estimate the count of the days after which the popup will be shown to the same user after verifying their age.

* The **Page level cookie saving** applies to the popup's confirmation data to the current page only.

### How to customize the Verification and Restriction Buttons


With the **Verification button style** it is possible to change the button title, set the width and height for it, and manage colors.

Additionally, you can set your desired text for error message label and required age message.

* The **Error message label** is a field where you can mention your desired error message once the user inserted the wrong information.

* The **Required age message** is a field where you can put the required age message.
