# How to Use the AWeber Extension

The **AWeber** extension allows to collect emails of your subscribers and connect them to your AWeber account.

With the extension you will be able to show the AWeber Sign up form inside the popup by giving a chance your users to subscribe and join your mailing list.

### Steps to create AWber popup

* First of all, you need to connect your AWeber account to Popup Builder.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Choose the **AWeber** from the Popup Builder menu and click on the **Connect Account** button.

2. Fill the required fields and press the **Allow Access**.

3. Once the account is successfully connected, the **Connected** status will show up.

* From your WordPress dashboard open the Popup Builder and click on the **Add New**.

* Choose the **AWeber** popup type from the menu bar.

### Steps to customize the AWeber popup

The following settings are available within the AWeber popup:

* **Status**: to make sure that the popup is connected to **AWeber account**.

* **Your lists** to select the subscription list for the mailing campaign.

* **Sign up forms** to select the form for your subscription list.

* **Unexpected error messages** to adjust unexpected error messages during the subscription.

* **Already subscribed message** to alert about already existing subscription with the same email address.

* **Validation messages** to alert about **required message** fields and **invalid emails**.

* **After successful subscription**: to select the action after successful subscription. Available options are:

_Success message_: the text can be changed here.
_Redirect to URL_: here you can set the website link to which you wish your users to be redirected after the subscription. The URL can be opened in the same tab or another.
_Open popup_: when selecting this option you can set for another popup to be opened once the current one is submitted. Choose the popup from the dropdown list.
_Hide popup_: choose this one to simply hide the popup when the form is submitted.

| After applying the changes, check how the popup look by using the **''Live Preview'' **option from the right.
