How to Use Contact Form Extension
Contact form extension is a brilliant way to keep in touch with your users, so they can contact you anytime they wish.
The extension is paid and can be purchased separately or within a bundle
Once you are done with the purchase, make sure to install it like this:
If it is purchased within bundle, check the following article.
In case of the single extension, the following article needs to be checked.
In order to create a Contact Form popup, open the Popup Builder from your WordPress and click ''Add New'':
Click on the Contact Form:
That's it! Now you have the Contact Form popup with its default settings.
Set the email address (es) to which the information of the Contact form is sent by using the Contact To option.
Set the subject for the email via Contact Email Subject option.
Besides the above mentioned options, the Contact Form has the following sections to be used: Content, Style, Advanced.
The Content section allows to add, edit and delete the Contact Form popup fields.
Please, note, that the only field, that can't be deleted, is the ''Submit'' field.
All other fields can be deleted without any problem.
When saying edit, it is assumed, that you can Enable/Disable Label, change the Filed Name and Placeholder, make the fields required ( except the ''Submit'' field, since it is required by default).
The following fields can be added into the form and be customized:
First Name
Last Name
Subject
Email
Textarea: in order to insert a big text inside the field.
Text: to insert a text into the field when the users need to add additional information.
Radio Button: gives an option to select choices.
Phone: helps to collect the phone numbers of users.
Advanced Phone: users can add their plain phone numbers without a need to enter the code of the country as it will be added automatically when the appropriate country selected.
Number: in case there is a need to collect numbers, the option can be used.
Dropdown: allows to have the dropdown menu inside the form.
Multiselect: this option gives opportunity to add choices that can be selected synchronously.
GDPR: the option adds the terms that you can set for the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) countries. You can set a label and the Confirmation text in it.
Checkbox: gives an opportunity to choose between the available options by checkboxes.
Plain Text: in the field the desired content can be added, so it can be shown on the Contact Form.
Submit: the field can be renamed, also a label and title( in a progress) can be set as well.
The Style allows to customize the Background, Input, Message and Submit button styles:
Using the section you can change the width, height, border width, border radius, margins, coloring and size of different elements such as background, message, text, placeholder.
The section includes option called Set fields horizontally, which allows to set the fields next to each other.
When using the above mentioned option, you can check the Except button as well.
It is the same Submit button, which will be shown under the fields when the Except button is checked, if not, the button will be shown next to other fields.
The following options are available with the Advanced section:
Required Field Message
Error Message
Invalid Email Message
Hide for already contacted users: the option allows not show the popup to already contacted users if it is turned on.
Show form on the Top: as there is an HTML editor available with the popup, the content of that editor usually shows above the form, unless the option is turned on.
After successful subscription: one of below mentioned actions can be performed, once the contact form submitted:
Success message: the text of the success message can be changed from here.
Redirect to URL: if you want to redirect the contacted users to the exact URL after they submit the form, this option can be used.
You can choose the URL to be opened in the same tab or another one.
Open popup: from the dropdown list you can choose the other popup to be opened, when the user inserted the contact form
Hide popup: if you want to hide the popup after the form submission, this option needs to be used.
The list of the Contacted Users can be found from the appropriate section under the Popup Builder menu. You can export the list and delete the user(s) if needed.
