The main options of the popup available with the free version can be seen in this article.

Create a Subscription Plus Popup
Go to All Popups section of the plugin and click "Add New".

Choose the Subscription Plus popup and that's it. The popup with its default options will be created.

Set the options for the Subscription Plus Popup

It is possible to "Enable Notifications" and set the email address(es) the subscription information is sent to.

The Subscription Plus popup has the four following sections that we are going to touch upon in this article: Content, Style, Advanced, Integrations.

The Content section allows to add, edit and delete the Subscription Plus popup forms. Only the "Email" and "Submit" fields cannot be deleted, all others can. But they're fully customizable.
By saying edit, it's possible to Enable/Disable the Label, edit the Placeholder and Field names. It is also possible to make the fields Required (all except the "Email" and "Submit" ones since those are required by default).

It is possible to add and customize the following fields to the form:

Email

Submit - It can be renamed, a label and a title (in progress) can be set for it.

First name

Last name

GDPR - This option adds the terms that you can set for the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) countries. You can set a label and the Confirmation text in it.

Text - You can add a text in this field so that the users can add additional information. This field can be made required.

Text Area - A bigger text area can be added to the form. The area can also be resized by dragging the cursor.

Radio Button - These buttons can be set for selecting choices and are fully customizable.

Phone - Phone numbers of the users can be collected.

Advanced phone - With this field, the users can select the territory they wish so that they can be easily detected by the system and skip the code of the country. They can add only their plain phone number in the field.

Number - if you have fields that might require any numbers, you can add this field and collect them.

Dropdown - This field gives the possibility of having a dropdown menu in the form.

Multiselect - This option gives opportunity to add choices that can be selected simultaneously.

Checkbox - This field is used to provide visitors with opportunities to choose among the specified options by checkboxes.

Plain text - In this field you can add the content you wish so that it can be shown on the subscription area.

The Style section allows to customize the Background, Input and Submit button styles.

Color, sizes, Width and Height of the different elements can be set via this section.

Besides, there is an option called Set Fields horizontally. This way the fields in the form will be next to each other.
By selecting the option, you can also see the "Except button" which is the "Submit button" described above. Once you check this, it will be shown under the form, otherwise, the button will be shown next to the other buttons.

The next is the Advanced section.

It gives the possibility of editing the following fields.

Required Field Message

Error Message

Invalid Email Message

Register as a WP user - When selecting this option, the subscriber will not only be added in the All Subscribers list of Popup Builder, but with also become a subscriber of your WordPress account.

Hide for already subscribed users - This option is checked by default and it allows not to show the popup to the users who have already submitted the form.

Enable Double Opt-in - When this option is checked, the subscriber will have to verify their subscription after submitting the form. A verification email will be sent to them for that reason.

Show from the top - There is an HTML editor available with the Subscription popup. Normally the content in that editor will be showing above the form unless this option is enabled.

After successful subscription - You can choose one of the following actions you wish to be implemented after the form is submitted.
Success message - The text can be changed here.
Redirect to URL - Here you can set the website link to which you wish your users to be redirected after the subscription. The URL can be opened in the same tab or another.
Open popup - When selecting this option you can set for another popup to be opened once the current one is submitted. Choose the popup from the dropdown list.
Hide popup - Choose this one to simply hide the popup when the form is submitted.

The Integrations tab provides with an opportunity to integrate Popup Builder with the following services:

ActiveCampaign
GetResponse
SendinBlue
Hubspot

When you go to "Integrations tab", you will see the integrations that you have. When turning them on, all the collected subscribers will not only be sent to your All Subscribers list of Popup Builder, but will be collected in the subscribers' list of those services.
You will find a "Local list" field which is by default "On", this is the list of the Popup Builder plugin (in the all subscribers tab in the sidebar).

In order to add the integrations in that part, you will need to make sure that they are connected.
Here is a way to connect them:

Go to Integrations Tab and click on the following text: "Click here to connect the popup with your mailing service." You will be redirected to the Email Integrations section on the sidebar.

Select the service that you are using and press on the arrow.
You will need to fill the information which can be retrieved from the corresponding service account.
Add the API URL | API KEY | Identifier information and press on connect.
Once the service name is transferred to the left (under the Local list) this means you have connected it and will be able to see in the "Integrations tab" of the subscription popup settings.

Note: the Mailchimp and AWeber are not shown there as we have separate extensions for them.
